After this post, all moggaots and worms will be exterminated, lol.

2 weeks ago, on the last day of school for term 1, 10th March, was the first day of my BB's training camp. It was held at the BB HQ. Rights, enough of unnecessary introduction. I met up with 2 other friends and an officer and we flagged a cab down to HQ. Hehe, we were the earliest there and we switched on the aircons and stuffs to get things ready when the rest arrive. At about 3pm, a few other officers arrived together with the Junior BB Boys(those in elementary school). In total there were about 26 or slightly more Junior Boys if I'm not wrong. We spent quite some time at the start on administration, such as taking attendance, consent forms and camp fees. Haiz, the Juniors are 'renowned' for being too playful and active, and to sum them all up, they're MONSTERS! Well, some are well-behaved, but some are MONSTERS! We're going to have a hard time ahead, which we have. The officers have to constantly remind them to shut up before they kept quiet, only to resume awhile later. Hehe, anyway whenever they misbehave or refused to listen to instructions, the officers played a game with them. And the game is....... Squats, LOL. Whatever, that's their problem, they deserved it, lol. Each chosen Senior(4 of them, including myself) were assigned to about 6-7 Juniors. Haiz, how unlucky was I to have gotten some kind of rebellious and idiotic indian guys, well just 2 of them. I so felt like, don't know what I might do to them anyway. We brought them to the respective dormitaries to put their stuffs. Thereafter we proceeded for dinner, to everyone's delight. Forgot what the dishes were, all I can remember was that everyone enjoyed the sumptuous meal. Following after it was some lesson on history of BB for the Juniors, and we Seniors(those from junior high school) sat at the back and listened as well, recaping the knowledge. Haha, Godfrey was the 'teacher' for the lesson and was quite 'entertaining'. LOL, remembered the moment where he didn't realise that he was holding a permanent marker in his hand and scribbled all over the board with information. When he tried to erase but to no avail, the Juniors laughed like some crazy monkeys being set free after years of being caged, lol. You can imagine how Godfrey shouted at them, and the Juniors played the game with Godfrey. Haha, a few Seniors have to help out in removing the permanent ink, but at the end of the day, their efforts weren't fruitful and a considerable amount of ink remained visible on the board. Well, don't know what happened to it after that, didn't really bother about it. After the lesson, red bean soup was served as supper. Hmm, talking about the red bean soup, Zhe Liang and I stole a few sips of the soup beforehand while we were checking whether it's ready, lol. Zhe Liang was tempted to have more as the soup was quite sweet. Meh, but I was able to 'drag' him off before he finishes every drop of it, lol. That's about it for the first day, was quite relaxed as there weren't much activities.

Yawn, got to wake up at 7am on the second day, was still tired as I'm a late waker. As usual, some Juniors will be awake early in the morning, around 6.30am or so, making noise and playing around. This matter was raised later on by an officer and told the Juniors that he doesn't want them to repeat this again the next day. Lol, we had to do some stretching exercises and again, some of those kiddos tried to be funny. While we were doing exercises like ankle rotation, we got the Juniors to count up to 8. Some kept on counting to 9, only to get the whole lot of them repeat the particular exercise again. Can you imagine, taking 5 minutes just to do ankle rotation for example? Haha, one of the officer was tired of it and came up with an idea. Whenever someone counts excessively, the whole group owes him 10 squats. Was that effective, and everyone counted 'accurately' up to 8. At the end of it, we have breakfast. After breakfast, DRILL. We spent about 2-3 hours doing drill. Seniors and Juniors were taken by different officers and at different places. Finally for once, we Seniors were alone without the kiddos. Lol, there were funny moments even in our drill session as well. Our officer came up with a ruke for punishment. That is, for every same mistake repeated, number of pumpings will increase by 2. And also, if 3 or more are being punished for a mistake, the whole group of us will have to serve the 'sentence' as well. Haha, then once I was the joker who did my pumpings as if I'm doing the action of a worm. Lol, I made some stupid mistakes which costs my friends to be punished as well. Anyway, all of us found these incidents funny and no one really took them to heart. There were other funny stuffs which we did, but it's either I can't remember them or I don't know how to explain them in words. After drill, we were given the opportunity to have a bath, and a First Aid lesson followed after it. The topics were mainly choking, asthma, fractures, head injuries etc. We were taught on what to do when someone suffers from these, the symptoms etc, types of fractures etc. Stuffs like the Heimlich Manoeuvre(for choking) and CPR(Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) were also covered. Hehe, you Red Cross Girls reading this, even we guys learn First Aid, lol. We were given notes and some time to go through them to prepare for the test. Well, fortunately, one of our friend, Alvinjit, finished his Motivational Camp on that day and arrived at the campus when we were about to start the First Aid lesson, so our officer changed the test date to the next day. After First Aid lesson, we had another lesson on Adventure. We have to learn stuffs like map reading, parts of a compass, the 3 Norths(for your information, True North, Magnetic North, Grid North), the 10 Country Codes and some others. Fortunately the test on Adventure was on the next day as well, allowing us more time to study. Then, we were to distribute the BB Uniforms to the new Juniors who don't have a set, as well as making sure that those who have missing Uniform parts. Nothing much to say here, so let's move on to dinner. Likewise, everyone was looking forward to dinner. Talking about meal time, what I dislike is that the kiddos are picky about their food. There was once lady's fingers(a type of vegetable) were selected as a dish, and most of them didn't want to eat it, rather they want more of chicken wings and other fine food. Humph, why can't they learn to eat what's given to them. If I see them throwing vegetables into the bins, I'll throw them in as well, lol. After dinner, I forgot what we did. This is what happens when I have short-term memory, and because of these missing details, my post comes out shorter than what I could have produced. Oh yeah, all I could remember was that we spent a little time rehearsing for the next day's Enrolment Service. And thereafter we have our supper once again. Lol, same thing happened as previous, Zhe Liang got me to accompany him to taste the soup beforehand. For this supper, we have green been soup, lol. Wonder if tomorrow's supper will be rainbow bean soup, haha. The green bean soup was as sweet as the previous day's red bean soup, resulting in some of us ending up helping ourselves to as much as more than 5 bowls. Time was given after supper to wash up. By the way, some mosquito coils were placed in the toilet as when they're burnt, the smoke produced will help to ward off mosquitos. Well, some ignorant kiddos went to informed the officers saying that someone was smoking in the toilet, lol. We Seniors have to help any kiddos who need help pinning their cap badge etc too. At around 11pm, we made sure the kiddos were in bed. We Seniors always get to sleep later than them, hehe. Well, partly because we have short meetings with the officers at the end of the day. When it's time to sleep, some of my friends will be talking to their girlfriends, ancestors or whoever. My phone had free incoming call, so lent it to Zhe Liang to talk to his girlfriend, I think, just an assumption. Meh, I studied for the upcoming tests the next day and dropped to sleep halfway.

Rise and Shine! The most important event for us, Enrolment Service, will take place in a few hours time. We got up as per normal, wash up, have breakfast, and then changed into our Full Uniform. Soon we were on our way to Wesley Methodist Church. Once there, we entered the sanctuary, and each group occupied 2 rows. We waited for the 82nd Company to take their place, and the Service started not long after they settled down. While we sang the first hymth, the Colour Party marched the BB Flag in. After that, the pastor went ahead with his preachings. Some, or maybe most, Boys were 'praying' throughout(you know what I mean), lol. Strangely, the preaching ended sooner than I expected. From the sanctuary, we proceeded to the Plaza. The 82nd Coy, 6th Girls' Brigade Coy(also from GYSS) and we BB 3rd Coy have to fall in to await the Guest of Honour, someone from the Girls' Brigade. After they arrived, the Guest of Honour gave a speech, followed by prize presentation. Shall not go into detail for this. A wide array of dishes were waiting for us to savour, which we proceeded to attacking them after we fall out from the contingent. After having our fill, well not really as we weren't given ample time stuff ourselves with as much food as possible, all of us took a few shots together(3rd and 82nd Coy + GB 6th Coy). This marked the end of the Enrolment Service and we headed back to the bus which brought us back to the campus. The Juniors have their own programmes while we Seniors have our own. We were given a little more time to do some final revisions before taking the Adventure test. Lol, then I had a fantastic stomachache and stayed in the toilet for like 15-20 minutes enjoying the solitude, lol. When I came out, I saw the group of Seniors getting 'punished' by an officer. The Seniors have to finish a big cup of water in 7 seconds, otherwise they will have to refill their cups and attempt the 'feat' until they're successful. Lol, when I joined them they said they have already finished a few cups. Well, the officer thought I was sick and exempted me from the 'torture', but I was alright and so I joined them for the last round. 3 of the Seniors tried to trick the officer by poking a hole below the plastic cup to allow water to drip. Haha, they were caught when our officer caught one of them and realised a few others holding the base of the cup as if to block the dripping of the water from the officer. All 3 were punished by remaining in pumping position and doing 40 pumpings I think. Lol, all of them have to visit the toilet after the punishment as they took in too much water. Back in a room where we were to take the Adventure test in, I found out the reason why they were punished. When one of the officers asked them whether they'd like to have water parade, Alvinjit replied 'Steady'. LOL, and that was the consequence for it. After our Adventure test, we were given some time to study for the First Aid test. For the First Aid test, we sort of cheated a little, and our officer gave us some of the answers, lol. After the test, it was around 6pm and we prepared the stuffs we need for the upcoming barbeque(yes, barbeque, isn't it cool?). While the Juniors played some games, we prepared the food so that the Juniors can feast after their games. Some parents were invited too and we served them food and drinks. Well, I guess everyone enjoyed the barbeque. Basically the barbeque is all about eating, so I've got nothing much to say other than that. Later in the night, I will be breaking camp as for next day I will be having Chemistry lesson. My father came to fetched me home at 11pm+ and home sweet home, for me, hehe.

On Sunday, 19th March, the last day of our 1 week holiday, we have our BB Week, in which we will be in Wesley Methodist Church going around asking for donations. Hmm, it seems like the Juniors are always collecting more than the Seniors. Most likely the church members prefer their cute faces and thus donated to them. Well, at the end of the day, the donations collected by all of us will go to the Company's funds, so it doesn't matter at all who receives more. My donation consists of only $2 and $10, which is uncanny.

The above paragraphs gave accounts of what took place for our training camp and a very brief one for BB Week. Apart from these, I had to go back to school on Monday(13th) for Chemistry and on Thursday for F&N, and not forgetting the big pile of homework given to us. Well, I won't go into go into detail for Chemistry and F&N as it's quite late at this point of time. Goodness!!! 2.59am in the morning! Better get over this quick and go to bed or else I'll end up as a panda in school. Been spending about 3 hours+ on this post, but I'm satisfied with it though, after almost 2 months of 'isolation'. Haiz, could have been playing 'Initial D : Street Stage' on my PSP for the past 3 hours. In the end, I just listened to my songs in it while typing throughout. Alright now, got to end this here. Hope you guys have a fun time reading the entire post, lol. Don't force yourself to finish reading everything if you can't handle the 'stress', haha. Rights, end of story. So long, and goodnight.

Tuesday, 21/3/06, 3.10am

After a looonnnnggggg break.(Recaping occasions)

Whew! Finally my CPU has been repaired and up for use again. It's been about 2 months since I last blogged? Whatever, anyway I'm back from my 'holiday' and back to work again.

Well, let's see what I've missed. The most vivid occasion I could think of to write here is my birthday on the 22nd of January. I was hoping my computer will be ready on that day so I could post a birthday message but, it wasn't the case. So here I am wishing myself a happy belated birthday. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Jonathan/Medusa/Japkid/Mad Scientist/Snakes (hehe)... Happy birthday to you! *Blows out imaginary candles and feeding 'snakes' with cake* Anyway, I didn't celebrate my birthday at all. I spent my day at Reuben's place doing homework, what a pathetic 'celebration'. But I don't care, a birthday is just like any other normal passing day at it doesn't hold much significance in me. Well, at least I got to spend my time with my best friend, as well as a lovely Birthday card from him. So I'd like to extend my thanks to him in front of you guys right here, right now. Thanks Reuben for being my best friend. I'll always remember of how you cheered me up when I'm down, help me out whenever I need help, and accompanying me whenever I need a friend. We'll always be the best of friends yeah, I hope so. Thank your mum for the red packet too. *Kisses* *Hugs* hehe.

As for yesterday's Chinese New Year celebration, it was kinda different from the past. This time, instead of spending the day watching performances and going about classes, playing games and winning prizes, and savouring various dishes etc, we spent the early part of the day in class going with the flow of our time-table -.- . Aahh, I don't care once again. For Chinese period, we did corrections for our composition. Lucky me, Mdm Gu said those with 30 marks or above need to correct only wrong words and sentences, and I got 30 marks exactly, lol. After I finished, was just slacking around walking here and there waiting for time to fly by. A few students were playing some kind of chinese game which Mdm Gu brought to class. It's something like Snake&Ladder, and everytime you stop at a point, you'll have to draw a card from the pile with the matching colour of your spot. Each colour have a different 'ti sou pang' (character by the side) I think if I remembered correctly. After drawing a card with a particular word, you'll have to come up with a pair of word compromising the word given in the card itself. The bell rang not too long later and off we went to Miss Tew's class for CME.

Another slacking period. Basically all we did was just collecting handouts and listening to Miss Tew teaching morals and some hilarious moments of 'arguments' with some guys at the back. Soo, nothing much to say for this period. One period of CME was replaced with our recess, so we were released a period earlier.

After recess, the F&N students headed to the library as our F&N teacher, Miss Ang, was in the hall preparing for the upcoming performance. In the library, we were to draw out a mind-map on the topic 'Methods of cooking'. So draw draw draw and soon it's the end of the lesson so we handed up the piece of work. Not much to elaborate here as well, so let's move on, to the hall!

The so called 'anticipated' moment is here, where the whole school gathered in the hall to watch performances etc. Can't really remember the exact order of the performances, as well as what took place, so just a rough estimation. At the start, pupils were given the opportunity to present mandarin oranges to their teachers. Oh man, I wanted to give them to one of my favourite cool teacher, Mr Ow, awwww, but I do not have any oranges. After students finished doing so, they went back to their places and the event resumed. The first performance was a girl singing I think. Nothing to say about that. Then blah blah blah, came the Questionaire time. Lol, some of the students who went up to answer the questions were funny, like a lower sec retard guy who smiled and wave(is it?) to the school a few times, and another guy who swinged his hand like an Orang Utan, hahaha, I'm so mean, but c'mon when funny stuffs take place you can't help but laugh right? Ok let's get over this. Then a video clip was shown to the school, in which teachers and students wished everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. Haha, Mr. Goh's one was cool, and cheers from GY students accompanied it. After the clip, a performance was staged by the Drama&Dance group. At the start a few pupils danced and stuffs, then the breakdancing gang (Hong Wei, Clement, Andrew and Jun Long) joined them and took the climax with their breakdancing moves of handstand, flips and flexible moves such as Jun Long's lol. I enjoyed that performance the most, as well most most other students I guess. There was a second round Questionaire session, much to the students' disappointment, lol. I agree it's kinda boring, perhaps because I can hardly answer the questions, but then again highly doubt so cos I'm not interested in such stuffs. What do you guys think about Shu Xian's and Miss Ang's singing? For the former still acceptable, but the latter, don't know what to say, maybe you guys can add? Oh yeah! There was also the choir who lead the school to sing some Chinese New Year songs. It took place at the start too. As if I'll sing those songs, you could say the choir members were some of the only ones who sang the songs. Tsk tsk there were some awkward moments though, and someone knows it. Whoever you are, don't ever let the rest know about the awkward moments, I trust ya. And at the end, teachers were all invited up the stage and there was this guy who tried to act like a pro juggler, only to screw up in between, lol. Then this marked the end of the celebration, and we were released class by class thereafter.

Uh oh, I can't remember any other stuffs or incidents to write. The long break must've switched off my memory power, lol. Aww well, so be it then, I'll skip on them. Alright, so this is the end of my 'first' post, hope you guys still enjoy it. And for the first time, I'm typing this in the afternoon, so I shall end my message in a slightly different manner. So long, not goodnight =)

Sunday, 29/1/06, 4.30pm

Camp Temasek IV

The camp which lasted 5 days has ended yesterday(Monday). These camps are special in the sense that they are held once every 5 years and compromise of organisations from overseas, as well as organisations other than BB, which are either local or foreign. But of course, majority of the campers are local BB Boys as these camps are organised by BB Singapore. This year's camp is the fourth one. Joining the Singapore BB Companies Boys are the local Girls' Guide(10 girls and 1 Madam), NCC(8 guys), BB Malaysia(10 Boys, 1 Captain and Madam), BB Thailand(23 Boys and 4 Officers), BB Philippines(4 Boys), BBMP(don't know what it stands for, 3 Boys), and CHC(also no idea on what it stands for, 1 helper or Officer). In total, we had 663 campers altogether! We were divided into groups, aka guilds in the camp : Paladins, Missionaries, Judges, Crusaders, Priests and Knights. In each guilds, members were divided further into smaller groups, aka societies, of 10. I was allocated to Paladins, and there I met a few friends whom I first met at the LDC2 Camp not long before this camp. Unfortunately, out of all the campers, none were Japanese. And there goes my hope, hoping to make some jap friends from the camp. Haiz, will not go further, lest I get too obsessed and decided to commit suicide, lol. 7 other friends from my Company went for the camp as well. It was held in Kranji Campsite(ALTC).

There were lots of activities in store for us such as rock climbing, paintball, archery etc and many others. The rock climbing, paintball, and some physical trainings were held in NCC HQ, I believe. The rest were mostly held in the campsite itself, apart from a mini 'Amazing Race' in Sungei Buloh. Got too many activities that I forgot some of the happenings, so I'll make it short for this. The food was great, with western food for some of our meals. But something hilarious is that, my friends from other guilds said that most of them had frequent visits to the toilet, especially for one 'fateful' supper, where some claimed the bread were expired! And those who ate them had diarrhoea or something, LOL. I was fortunate as I skipped supper for that night as I wasn't in serious need of food.

On Saturday night, we had a campfire. Performances were staged by a band, apparently from City Harvest Church. They sang songs like Sk8ter Boy(Avril Lavigne), Bring Me To Life(Evanescence), Wake Me Up When September Ends(Green Day) and others. There was even a dance competition, where each guild sent a representative up on stage to compete with those from other guilds. At the end of the performance and stuffs, the band played christian music, and quite a number of guys went to the front, started jumping and clapping and praising the Lord. And I was one of them. To end the event, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of BB Singapore. Thereafter, everyone proceeded to the cookhouse(canteen) to have supper like every other days. Oh yeah, I remember now, that was the day when the 'fateful' supper were served, lol.

On Sunday night, there was a 'Free Market', where every guild set up 2 stalls. The objective was to gain as much coupons as possible from 'customers'. We were given 12 coupons each and we went around the place 'shopping'. My guild, Paladins, sold water bombs and photo takings. Others sold stuffs like sugar cane drinks, candies, lollie pops, bookmarks etc. At the end, our guild master told us our guild earned the most from the event, giving us a slight edge over the other guilds. Forgot the rest of the details.

On the last day, the final game was a series of games played among all the guilds at the same time. Skipping all about the games, everyone changed to their full-uniform to prepare for the Closing Ceremony, but I was excused as I'll be leaving earlier. So at 3pm, 4 other friends from my Company and I left the campsite for BB HQ as our band will be heading to a church in Prinsep Street to lead. Btw, the BB Company from that particular church happens to be the 1st BB Company in Singapore, but of course all of us knew about it.

At the BB HQ, we took a rest first. We chatted about the camp. 2 of my officers said they managed to get hold of a girl's number each, lol. I wasn't pretty much interested in getting their numbers. It'll be a different story altogether if they were japs, but that wasn't the case. After a rest and a briefing from our one of our officer, we packed the guitars and went to the church, where we had one more practice. At 7pm+, the band started leading the small congregation. However, I was totally off-form for that night, kept on going off pitch. That night, it was like a normal service, where a person will be up on stage and sharing lessons etc. It ended at around 9.30pm, headed home.

A friend and I decided to take a train home. We walked without knowing where the MRT Station is located at. But fortunately, we managed to find the station, Little India. And my goodness, at that time, the place was so deserted. As we took the long escalator down, it was as though we're in a graveyard, not a single soul in sight. My imaginations went wild and thought of zombies, feasting on corpses and waiting for us right at the foot of the escalator, lol. However, as we headed further into the station, human came to sight, not zombies, so don't think too much. And I made the 'greatest discovery' about escalators. And that is, when the escalator is not in use, it'll slow down, most probably to cut cost on running the escalator. When I experimented by going closer to the escalator, it gained speed to it's original speed. Before that, I was puzzled at why that is so, but soon arrived at this conclusion after the second 'try'. And so, nothing much happened after that, just took a train home. Home Sweet Home!

After a bath, I took over the computer from my brother and started downloading game videos which were posted at a forum during the past few days. I was very tired that night after a long day and my eyelids were getting heavier with each passing minute, but endured till most of the videos were downloaded before heading to bed. End of day.

As of today, I stayed at home the entire day, finish downloading the remaining videos, played a little of my computer game, and chatting with friends. And tonight, I finally managed to upload a song for my blog! I was delighted that my blog was completed with a song, with some help from Reuben. Thanks for that. That's the end of today too. I won't be around for the next 3 days again, and will be back on Friday night. Tomorrow, I'll be staying overnight at the BB HQ as my friend and I will be carrying out our PFM(Potential Founders' Man) duties for the SGB(Sharity Gift Box). PFM are people who applied for the Founders' Man badge, which is the highest award a senior Boy can attain, and will have to complete projects in order to qualify for the award, and our PFM duties are part of the project. Nothing else to add on, so a full-stop will be in place here. Everyone, so long, and goodnight.

Wednesday, 7/12/05, 12.20am

*Time Alert!

I don't know why this is so, but the timing for my blog is incorrect, and I'm unable to adjust it when I'm blogging, which wasn't the case for my previous posts. I'm a little upset as I'm unable to post a detailed post for the past few days. I enjoy typing long posts and giving detailed account on events etc, but unfortunately, I'll have to skip on the previous one due to time constraint. I won't be around for the next 5 days until Monday because I'll be in a camp at Kranji Campsite. I'll elaborate more on this camp when I return then. Haiz, activity after activity, camp after camp, leaving me little time for relaxation. This explains why I haven't been blogging for the last few days. I was shacked when I got home from the LDC1 camp that I didn't have time to blog. Now, I'm finally able to post, but am going to be away from home again =( . While I'm away, I'd encourage friends (namely reub, ql, mj, mich, elle etc) to continue posting even when the owner of this blog isn't present to reply and so on so as to keep this blog lively. Post anything you want as long as they are acceptable (I trust you guys' judgement), including chats or whatsoever. Well, hope to see you guys again after the camp, so long, and goodnight!

*This camp carries certain dangerous activities, I guess, as the campers have to get 2 consent forms signed. These forms state that the Government and the organisation shall not be held responsible for injuries or deaths. Therefore, there's a slight chance that I may not make it back home alive. I know this sounds really weird and you might think I'm talking craps, but life is uncertain and unpredictable, mishaps can happen to anyone, anytime and anywhere. Let's say I do not get to live, this will be the final post I'm posting, as well as the end of the blog. I don't know what else to comment at thie point if a misfortune befalls me during the camp, but I just do hope I'll survive through the camp. I'm still young and have some dreams that are yet to fulfilled still.

Thursday, 1/12/05, 2.40am

Festival Of Praise

As said yesterday, I shall relate today's event, Festival Of Praise. Our band has to be there earlier for a final round of rehearsal, as well as some tuning of the instruments etc. For today, I'll be one of the four backup singers together with 3 other guys. At the end of our practice, we were allocated different areas to help out in such as ushering etc. I was sent to the first floor to help 2 of my other friends in taking the attendance of other companies arriving. As there wasn't much to do, I was just slacking around, pacing up and down waiting for time to fly by. And slightly pass 10, we realised that the event has already started, and our band was up on stage leading the congregation to a time of worship, and I wasn't there! I rushed up to the sanctuary, only to see the empty space where I was suppose to be. The fourth mic was left vacant which was meant for me, lol. Well, soon after, the band members were signalled to shake hands with the Boys around the area, I took the opportunity to join back into the band after they've finished shaking hands and stuffs like that. I was a little nervous up there at first, but soon got used to it. After the time of worship has ended, a skit was prepared for us. Lol, the skit was kinda funny and entertaining. Btw, the skit was staged in the form of puppet characters. It's about a guy who received an award for being a good overall student in aspects such as studies and sports. A friend of his wanted to celebrate with him for his achievement. I assume both of them are casual friends. The girl wanted to be the guy's girlfriend, but the guy was mean and turned her down, in addition to hurting remarks such as calling her 'pimple face', and saying that she's so short people might mistook her for their shoes. Deeply hurt, she went off. At home, the guy was watching to a certain programme and came a lame type advertisement. It's about a hotline where you can get to know girls and make friends, or perhaps further than just that. The guy was excited and gave it a try. He got to meet up with this girl who is materialistic. When they met, the guy gave her a bouquet of flowers. Dissatisfied in an indirect manner, she asked whether that's all. He then took out a bar of Kit-Kat chocolate and offered it to her. She questioned whether their relationship means that insignificant to him. Lol, he threw away the chocolate and took out a $50 note instead, and said that's the value of their relationship. The guy told her he likes her. And she replied, "I like... your presents". Lol, to end their meeting, she insulted him the same way he did to his friend, calling him a pimple-faced short nerd. And so, he was left alone, heartbroken. Then came his friend(the one who was 'rejected' at the start), who tried the cheer him up. He was touched. Despite his arrogant attitude, she didn't leave him in the lurch when he's down. Their friendship was mended and strengthened after the incident, and became good friends thereafter. So that's the end of the skit. What's the moral of the story? Think about it. Following after the skit was the presentation of the second highest award for the Seniors' Section in the 'Boys' Brigade', the Senior Proficiency Star badge. And what the.... I was the very first of the first badge to receive the award. Being the first, I had to give the timing for our march, halt and turn. The timing I gave was so soft that even the person behind me can't hear. The consequence was, everyone turned one by one as no timing was heard, seeing the person in front turn was the que to turn, resulting in a form of 'Domino', lol. After the presentation ended, our band was invited up on stage to sing the closing song 'Pass It On'. Thereafter, the Colours(flags) were marched out by the Colour Party. Before dismissal, there was a feast awaiting everyone at the ground floor. Everyone ate to their fill, and some of my friends were being gluttons, savouring chicken wings and some other dishes. In this case, we're being helpful in the sense that we prevent the food from going to waste. Talking about waste, my friend saw a guy who ate just the dishes and threw the noodles away! Damn, everything was paid by our Company, which probably explains why he didn't feel the pinch in doing so. Our Company stayed back for awhile to clear up the place of litters. Just as we were about to leave, rain approached. The rest of the guys left despite the rain. I wasn't in the mood to get 'bombarded' by rain droplets then, and anyway those who left were heading to places which weren't the same direction as mine, so it's pointless even if I followed them, I'll still be 'deserted' thereafter, lol. I stayed in the building together with 3 of my officers. After the rain subsided, an officer and I made our way to the MRT station. Just then, he received a phone call. Thank goodness, he said that he needs to rush off to somewhere and therefore will have to take a cab and on the way offered me a lift home, wooh! Being at the right place at the right time, and also being with the right person, lol. I had a bath after I reached home and being tired, I went into coma..... Lol, joking, I mean to sleep, yeah. Nothing much happened tonight, so basically I've ended what I have to say regarding today. I doubt I'll be around tomorrow to draft out a post for tomorrow(or today because it's already past midnight) as I'll be staying overnight at the BB HQ for an upcoming course on Monday and Tuesday. The Sabah Boys, who are Boys from a Malaysian BB Company, will be coming for their LDC1(Leadership Development Course stage1) and I guess our Company will be assisting them through the course. Currently, I'm unsure when I'll be back, but most probably I won't have to stay overnight on Monday, so I might be able to post on Monday. Till then, don't miss me, lol. If I'm not wrong Reuben will be back tomorrow or Monday. Either days, I'll be able to chat with him once again. Everyone take care. So long, and goodnight.

What a day

Haiz, today is a tiring one, where I'm out from 11am+ to 10pm+. I arranged with an online friend to meet up this morning to go to the arcade. And so I waited for 1 and a half hour but he didn't appear! And so I had no choice but to be a lonesome racer at the arcade without any friends with me. I was disappointed as this might be the last time I'm going to the arcade this holiday as I've finished all 30+ bucks value in my TAPZ card and won't be spending anymore $$$ on arcade games(apparently). Estimated value spent today is about $36, and entirely spent on the racing game 'Initial D'. Haiz, and came a challenger some time in between. I was using GC8V and he, an EA11R. He took me to 'Happogahara' and I won him the first round. And btw, he had a huge blue aura over his car as he's level 19. But my luck soon ran out and suffered 5 consecutive loss to him! We challenged each other in a variety of courses such as 'Tsuchisaka' and 'Shomaru'. But these were great challenges though where both him and I pit our skills against each other. Could've won if I hadn't been so careless, sad. And a player who saw me play said that I'm a fast player, so that gave me a slight encouragement. Okay, enough about 'Initial D', something hilarious happened. When a little boy challenged my opponent, the first machine jammed, and the second followed suit since both machines are linked during battles. Haha! Should've seen my opponent's expression and reaction. He was so worried that his card might be 'eaten' up by the machine should they off the main switch. Moreover, he spent lots of cash on that car and as mentioned earlier, it is level 19. Anyway, the problem was soon fixed and my opponent heaved a sigh of relief. And so that's how it goes, shall not go much into details. Well, at around 6pm, I head to the Methodist Church which is situated close to the Entertainment arcade for a band practice for tomorrow's 'Festival Of Praise'. I was kinda nervous as we'll be leading the entire congregation in worship. I'll continue on this issue tomorrow after the actual event so as to be able to give an actual account on what went on during the event. I left the church at about 9.45pm and reached home at 10.15pm. First thing I did when I stepped into the house was to check my handphone for SMSes. And omg, there were a few messages by that friend, nicknamed H.Z(a pro Initial D player). In those messages, he said stuffs like 'I'm already here', 'Are you coming?', 'I'll go there first, meet me there' etc. Haiz, communication breakdown just because I did not bring my handphone along. He said that he's wearing black shirt and is driving a car with a particular nick. And true enough, I met a guy which suits these information, but at that point of time I didn't know it was him. Besides, we've actually seen each other at the train station. Both of us were waiting for each other, but we weren't aware that both of us are actually waiting for someone who is already there! LOL! I replied his messages, blah blah, apologised to him and stuffs. Yeah, and so the slight misunderstanding was cleared. A long day for me outside, thus a long post is made here too. So, I shall end here. thanks for reading this entire post. Bet most of you are puzzled or confused about the Initial D part, unless you're a player, lol. Kk, I gotta get going to polish my Uniform equipments for tomorrow's event, and it's already 1.20am by the time I finished typing this post. Well then, so long, and goodnight.

My blog.

Finally! My blog was done up yesterday, with great help from Michelle. Thanks for your help Mich. Now, the only setback I'm facing is uploading a song for my blog. I just can't seem to upload the song successfully despite many tries. With determination, I actually stayed up till 4am yesterday just persisting on getting it done. Unfortunately, things did not turn out the way I hope it'll be, and thought that it's pointless carrying on with something I do not have much picture of and resigned to fate. And off I went to bed, clearly disappointed in not getting everything done on that night. Thankfully, my blog wasn't left empty before I went to sleep. A few posts were made by my friends, giving my blog a hommie feeling on the day it was born. However, my best friend, Reuben, will be leaving today to Thailand, therefore he has to sleep early yesterday in order not to have black rings during his journey. What nice timing it was, just as I've achieved something proud, my best friend will not be around for a few days to share the joy with me. But all's fine though, I've already wasted much time slacking around, so another few more days of waiting is alright with me. You must be tired after having read so much in just one such blogger, so I shall continue another day, but don't fret, it'll be real soon, yeah. I wouldn't want to be inconsiderate by typing long messages for anyone to read and depriving rest, lest you guys contract myopia, lol. Ok then, so long, and goodnight.
